Avid Support FAQs
Eligibility for Technical Support

A customer can avail technical support for Avid products by mailing his query to support@ansata.net or by calling a Tech Support Engineer.

• The customer is eligible for free support if he has purchased Avid equipment from a dealer in India. The customer should have also registered the equipment online at the Avid website. Warranty details are applicable.

• The customer is not eligible for free support if he has not purchased the equipment from an Indian dealer. The customer will be charged as per the decision of the Avid Technical Support team.


Procedure for Technical Support

Majority of the technical support correspondence will be on phone or via email. If the customer requires Technical Support, he will have to fill in and submit the support form on the Ansata site.


Major Servicing

• Should the equipment require major servicing or repair, the same has to be sent over to our Bangalore office, preferably in its original packaging. Ansata will not claim responsibility for damage caused in transit due to incorrect packaging or shipping.

• A Service fee is applicable for inspection only. The details are Rs 500 for LE products and Rs 1000 for HD products. This fee will not be charged if the unit is at fault and is serviced by our agency.

• Servicing charges and other incurred expenses will be applicable as per the customer’s warranty details.

• Shipping charges are to be borne by the customer.

• The decision of exchanging faulty equipment will be taken by the Technical support team at Ansata and will be final.
