The MMA-A Digital Audio Interface is a high-quality, dual-channel microphone preamplifier and A/D converter that can be used with all DPA microphones with a MicroDot connector, including d:fine™ Headset, d:screet™ Miniature and even d:dicate™ Recording Microphones (when used with with the MMC4018 Supercardioid Microphone Capsule with the MMP-G Modular Active Cable and Gooseneck Shock Mount for d:dicate™). This flexibility allows any content creator to use the equipment for unexpected situations that might arise during the day.

Microphones for news broadcast

Watch just about any major news channel or local news program and you will see the in-studio journalists and reporters wearing bodyworn lavalier microphones. The unobtrusive and easy to mount d:screet™ 4080 Miniature Cardioid Microphone, Lavalier is the right mic for this type of job. It is acoustically pre-equalized, offering a 4 dB presence boost.

This makes the voice more distinguishable and improves speech intelligibility. Professionals will appreciate the light weight and the excellent speech reproduction. Alternatively, the d:screet™ 4060 or d:screet™ 4071 Omnidirectional Microphones are great solutions that leave an even smaller footprint. For news gathering and field productions, you need a sturdy, reliable microphone that can resist weather, wear and tear and unpredictable situations.

If you are looking for a full miniature microphone kit to support your ENG/EFP efforts, the d:screet™ ENG/EFP Microphone Kit, which contains a d:screet™ 4071 Miniature Microphone is a good choice.

The d:screet™ 4071 Omnidirectional Microphone, Low-cut, Presence Boost is an outstanding speech mic. It makes the voice heard and intelligible. Microphones for sports events
