d&b subwoofers come in all shapes and sizes: whether large or small, permanently installed or mobile, flown or ground stacked, they provide frequency extension suitable for any sound reinforcement application.
The extensive family of d&b subwoofers are engineered to provide precisely matched low frequency extension to d&b loudspeaker systems. The range delivers solutions for all potential applications from the largest to the smallest, whether flown or ground stacked. Some models, including the V-SUB, Y-SUB, B4-SUB, 27S-SUB and 27A-SUB, are driven by a single amplifier channel but exhibit a cardioid dispersion pattern. They provide directivity control at low frequencies, whilst keeping the amplifier channel count low. Others, such as the B6-SUB and B22-SUB are inherently omnidirectional. When operated in multiples of three they can be configured as a Cardioid Subwoofer Array, providing exceptional low frequency directivity control. Two amplifier channels, providing remarkable cardioid control over the low frequency while delivering efficient maximum output power, drive the most powerful d&b subwoofers, including the SL-SUB, J-SUB and J-INFRA.
