Description

The DataGauss XL degausser was introduced to accommodate the erasure of both standard and full height hard disk drives and backup tapes. Storage devices up to 6½” x 1⅝” x 4½” (165mm x 42mm x 114mm) can be securely erased, quickly and effectively. The LG version comes fitted with the unique Data Destruction Auditor solution which enables the operator to document and verify their hard drive erasure and create tangible, audit-ready reports that confirm complete and secure erasure.

The DataGauss XL LG manual hard drive degaussing system is also self-calibrating, providing the user with assured erasure time after time. If you need fast, reliable and permanent erasure of medium quantities of standard and full height hard drives and tapes but with the added bonus of being able to produce evidence that the media has been completely erased, the DataGauss XL LG hard drive degausser is for you.

Easy Operation

The DataGauss XL-LG has been designed with simplicity in mind. Releasing the catch, lifts the lid allowing media to be placed into the chamber. Closing the lid and pressing the ‘erase’ button on the control panel activates the charging of the powerful degaussing magnetic field. When the display says the degauss cycle is complete, the lid can be opened and the media removed. The entire process takes just 45 seconds.

Throughout the whole erase cycle the on-board processor monitors the erase procedure ensuring that it is completed correctly. The operator is shown erase progress and immediately alerted to any interruptions in the cycle by messages on the LCD control panel.

Options

Transportation Case: An optional heavy-duty transportation case with wheels is available for the DataGauss XL-LG, enabling you to safely transfer your degausser by road or air, ideal if you have a requirement to erase media at multiple locations.
